Cabbage preparation: Carefully detach the best leaves. Blanch them for 3-4 minutes in salted boiling water. Drain and cool in ice water.

Filling: Mix all filling ingredients (ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, paprika) until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Shaping: Place 2-3 spoons of filling in the center of each leaf. Fold the sides and roll tightly to form the stuffed cabbage rolls.

Tomato sauce: Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil. Add tomato coulis, sugar, bay leaf and oregano. Simmer for 15 minutes.
