Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. Place them in a bowl and season with salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. Gently toss.

On a large plate, arrange the seasoned tomatoes. Place the burrata in the center, opening it slightly. Add small dollops of pesto around and on the burrata.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves. Optionally add toasted pine nuts and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
