Prepare the meat: cut the steak into thin strips and marinate with soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, paprika, garlic, a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper for 10-15 minutes.

Cook the pasta: boil salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some cooking water.

Sear the steak: heat a very hot pan with a drizzle of oil. Sear the steak over high heat for 1-2 minutes, just to brown it. Remove and set aside.
