
Croissant with Egg, Bacon and Cheddar

Cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

In the same pan, melt some butter. Crack the eggs and cook them according to your preference (fried, scrambled or omelette). Salt and pepper.

Cut the croissants in half. On the bottom half, place a slice of cheddar, an egg and two slices of bacon. Close with the top of the croissant.

For melted cheese, bake the croissants for 3-4 minutes in the oven at 180°C.

Serve immediately.

- Bacon: Drain well to avoid making the croissant soggy
- Eggs: Prefer fried eggs for a runny yolk
- Cheese: Cheddar adds character, but emmental also works
- Heat: Lightly warm the croissants before assembling
